This is a scarce, beautiful, and fascinating well-illustrated 1st first edition antique ancient history and archaeology hardcover book entitled "Manners and Monuments of Prehistoric Peoples" by the Marquis de Nadaillac, with 113 wonderful illustrations / engravings, translated by Nancy Bell, published in 1892 by G.P. Putnam's Sons, with a brown cloth hardcover having gold gilt decorative designs and lettering, with a total of 412 pages.

A small closed edge chip/tear to a group of pages toward the front that cuts further into one page but does not detract, as shown, with an edge tear/fold on the first blank end paper. . The exterior cover has edge and surface wear with some peeling fraying at the spine, also shown. But overall, in good condition for the age.
